The file must be reachable at https://yourcompany.com/.well-known/manufacturer.json.
- WordPress and most hosting: open your hosting file manager (or FTP), go to the site's root folder (often
public_html), create a folder named.well-knownand upload the file into it. Some security plugins or Cloudflare rules block dot-folders; allow this path if the checker cannot find the file. - Serve it as JSON:
application/jsonis recommended. Most servers do this automatically for.jsonfiles. - Wix, Squarespace, Shopify: these platforms cannot serve this path. Skip to step 4; a hosted profile is on our list.

Is it really free?
Yes. Publishing the file, being checked and being listed cost nothing. We do not take a commission on your orders.
Do I have to give you a password or access to my website?
Never. The prompt runs in your own coding assistant on your own computer, and you upload one small file yourself. We only read the public file at your own domain.
Will this bring me quote requests?
We cannot promise volume. Buyers and their AI agents ask us who can make a part; companies with a valid profile are ranked higher and show exactly what they offer. Register your company as well to receive structured requests by email.
What happens to my data?
The file is public by design: it is what you want buyers to know. We list your company with the processes, certifications and contact details you publish. You can change the file or ask us to remove the listing at any time (/optout).
My website is on Wix, Squarespace or Shopify and cannot serve a file in /.well-known. What now?
Register your company with the form below. A hosted profile that we serve for you is on our list; tell us if you need it.
