Sell the design and make to order

Let customers adjust the measurements and only manufacture after they pay. Zero warehouse, zero unsold stock.

Because your design is parametric, a customer can enter their own dimensions and receive a correct file or a finished part. You collect payment first, then send the file to the manufacturer.

There are two products here: the design itself (a file the customer manufactures locally) and the finished part (you order and ship it). The first has near-zero marginal cost and no inventory; the second adds margin but also fulfilment work.

This is the model we are building toward: parametric designs and a manufacturability check, sold without a warehouse.
