VibeManufacturingBot

Our manufacturer directory is compiled automatically. This page explains how, so you can judge and control it.

Sources

• OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), for company names, locations and websites.
• Wikidata (CC0).
• Each company's own public website, to detect which manufacturing processes, materials and certifications it states.

We do not copy marketplace or directory databases, and we do not log in anywhere.

Behaviour

• User agent: VibeManufacturingBot/1.0 (+https://vibe-manufacturing.com/bot)
• We read robots.txt first and obey it, including a rule addressed to VibeManufacturingBot.
• One request every three seconds per website, at most a handful of pages per company (home and service pages).
• Detection is rule-based keyword matching. We store facts (process names, materials, certifications), not copied text, and no personal data such as employee names or personal email addresses.
